This, iStudio Salons, is an interesting way to run a salon - each suite is its own business and therefore they're all separate from each other. But, David's salon suite is like no other. It's got a warm energy that is all at once calming and peaceful while also being energizing and inspiring. David makes you feel right at home and takes time to engage with you about your current hair style and what you like/dislike about it. He spends time talking with you about your intentions for your hair, taking into account your face shape, your time factor when getting ready for your day, and then gives you a lovely wash and an amazing head massage. He then crafts a unique and thoroughly fantastic hair style for you that will be easy to manage once you leave his salon. He also guides you as to what products you might need, not pushing you to buy anything you don't want. This place was so much more than I expected and yet, somehow, I left feeling like I was taken care of exactly how I wanted to be. As I said - unique - not just the cut, but the care of me too. David is also an artist so you'll be greeted with some of his interesting and fully engaging work - yet another layer to his studio space. And, if you're thirsty, he's got you covered; need a snack, he's got that too; sweet tooth needs a treat, no worries, there's some of that too. Truly an "all inclusive" kinda hair salon with a creative, kind, humorous and talented (did I mention David's a classically trained opera singer too?!)
