"**EDITED 6/20/25** My wife hadn’t had her nails done in over a year due to financial constraints. Recently, we had a little extra money, and since she had been going through a rough time with work and some personal matters, I wanted to do something nice to cheer her up. I asked my mom to take her to get her nails done at the salon she’s been going to for a while—she knows the staff and has always spoken highly of them. My wife got a French mani/pedi. Her toes turned out great—clean, polished, and exactly what she wanted. Unfortunately, the manicure was a different story. The gel on her fingernails looked cloudy, almost like marble, and there were visible gaps where the gel didn’t reach the nail bed. It was disappointing, and she left feeling unhappy with the result. Two days later, one of the gel tips broke—not her nail, just the gel overlay. On 6/6, she returned to the salon, hoping to have the issue corrected. Instead of receiving a warm welcome or being given a chance to explain, she was cut off and repeatedly told, “You broke your nail,” even though her natural nail was intact. The broken tip was hastily patched, but the other issues weren’t even addressed because no one would listen. Sadly, my wife has no plans to return, and even my mom—who’s been a loyal customer—was disappointed. She agrees that the work was subpar and that the customer service fell far short of expectations. It’s unfortunate because this could’ve been a chance to make things right, but instead, they lost not one but possibly two customers. UPDATE- Harrison (I assume the owner) had my wife got into the St Pete location. He listened to what my wife was disappointed about with her nails. He made sure her nails were fixed and that she was satisfied with her manicure. Thank you, Harrison, for making this right."
